• How can I transfer my fixed deposit money to my savings account

To get the full benefit of your Fixed Deposit, it's always better to allow it to complete the term. But, if you wish to, you can transfer your fixed deposit value, fully or partially, by making a premature withdrawal, in one of the following ways:

1. On Mobile Banking
1) Go to Banking
2) Select Fixed/ Recurring Deposits
3) Select Premature withdrawal

2. On Net Banking
1) Go to Investment -> Deposits
2) Select Premature Withdrawal of Deposit (Amount will be credited in your account instantly). Alternatively, you can also place a request at the nearest Kotak Mahindra Branch. (Amount will be credited in your account within 24-48 hours).

Please Note: 1. In case of premature closure of Fixed Deposit within 7 days from the date of its booking, no interest shall be paid and only the principal amount will be returned. 2) There will be a penalty on the interest rate (0.50%), if the FD was booked for 181 days and above, and withdrawn before maturity.
